This year’s Curatorial Candrawala attempts to respond to the multi-layered theme of tracing origins. Tracing origins is not limited to tracking ancestors but is also used by filmmakers to understand their experiences of a world that is now well-defined (tradition, social, political). The way origins are traced in these films also varies.
