Muhammad Hamdy adalah seorang sinematografer pemenang Emmy dari Kairo. Ia ikut memproduseri film dokumenter nominasi Oscar, The Square, yang tayang perdana di Sundance, memenangkan Penghargaan Penonton dan Penghargaan Pilihan Publik Toronto (2013). Karya-karyanya meliputi We Are the Giants (2014), The Trials of Spring (2015), dan Olmo & the Seagull (2015), yang menerima Penghargaan Dox Nordik Terbaik di CPH:DOX. Hamdy adalah lulusan Akademi Film New York.
