Sinopsis / Synopsis

Relasi masyarakat lokal dengan Sungai March bukanlah simbiosis yang statis, melainkan sebuah jaringan dinamis yang terus menegosiasikan perspektif atas sejarahnya. Film ini menyajikan beragam cara membaca sungai, dari metode konvensional seperti arsip dan peta hingga pendekatan interdisipliner melalui lukisan dan seni performatif, untuk menelusuri kembali transformasi Sungai March dari sudut pandang masyarakat

The relationship between the local community and the March River is not a static symbiosis, but a dynamic network that continuously negotiates its historical perspectives. The film presents multiple ways of reading the river, from conventional methods such as archives and maps to interdisciplinary approaches through painting and performative arts, tracing the transformation of the March River from the community’s point of view.

Director’s Biography / Biografi Sutradara

Mira Klug (lahir 1992), belajar di Universitas Seni Terapan, Departemen Seni Rupa, Fotografi. Dalam karya seninya, ia menggunakan metode fotografi, sinematografi, serta instalasi spasial untuk menyelidiki pola historis, sosial, dan struktural seperti penampilan dan perilaku. Karyanya telah dipamerkan di berbagai pameran nasional dan internasional.

Johannes Gierlinger (lahir 1985) belajar di Akademi Seni Rupa Wina. Dalam karyanya, ia membahas historiografi serta bentuk-bentuk memori, ingatan, dan perlawanan. Ia mengeksplorasi pembacaan, keraguan, dan kemungkinan citra masa depan dalam bentuk karya esai.

Mira Klug (b.1992), studied at the University of Applied Arts, Department of Fine Arts, Photography. In her artistic works, she uses photographic, cinematic as well as spatial installation methods to investigate historical, social as well as structural patterns as appearance and behavior. Her works have been shown at numerous national and international exhibitions.

Johannes Gierlinger (b. 1985) Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. In his work he deals with historiography as well as with forms of memory, remembrance and resistance. He explores readings, doubts and possible future images in the form of essayistic work.
