Sinopsis / Synopsis

Sejarah bukan hanya milik orang-orang besar. Memories and My Mother mengikuti seorang anak yang berusaha menjaga kehidupan ibunya melalui rekaman, foto, dan ingatan tentang masa lalu.

History does not belong only to the great and powerful. Some histories live within the home, in conversations, family photographs, and the memories of a mother. Memories and My Mother follows a son who attempts to preserve his mother’s life through recordings, photographs, and memories of the past. As his mother grows older and the spaces where memories once took root gradually disappear through development, cinema becomes a way of preserving what is slowly being lost. A film about a mother, memory, and the simple attempt to keep a life from being forgotten.
